Homelessness


  

Individual cases to be appraised and evaluated.

A national project team to be funded to identify classes of need and to develop quality, humane and enduring remedies for various homeless situation categories; to quantify needs, current remedial interventions and cost effectiveness, with the objective of establishing desirable standards to be instituted an a nation-wide basis.

Persons homeless due to mental illness to be provided with appropriate care and institutionalisation if required.

A rapic response 'semi-fosterage' system for juvenile homeless to be implemented to ensure that as soon as they are identified they can be promptly housed as well as removed from risk of predators and enticement into criminality.

A parent whose abuse causes a juvenile to become homeless may be made to pay for independent accommodation and other support for the child.
